CommuniTree uses reforestation as a tool to mitigate climate change and poverty. It creates financial incentives for farmers to establish new agroforestry systems on their own land, provides enhanced technical services to increase farmers’ yields and connects them to buyers for their fully traceable reforestation products. When farmers earn an income from growing trees, poverty and climate change are addressed simultaneously.
