  The project supported by Planet Action aims at studying the feasibility of generating carbon credits for the voluntary market in the scope of the past and future actions implemented in the Regional Natural Park area. The project consists in the development and application of a methodology to demonstrate the net effect on carbon emissions that can be attributed to these actions. The project focuses on participative planning of land use, strengthening the capacities of community organizations on control and governance, alternative models of production and marketing, and financial incentives development to protect the environment.
