Project description
The objective of the project is to guarantee access to natural resources and sustainable development through family agricultural practices. The activities include the diffusion of agroforestry systems which combine the sustainable use of the forest with income generation. The project also includes a component on capacity building for the indigenous communities to collect the seeds that will be used in the agroforestry systems. The project aims to recover 1,200 hectares of degraded areas (restoration of permanent preservation areas and legal reserves) and rescuing of family farming through the introduction of agroforestry systems.
