    The project has a potential reduction of 1,223,915 tCO2e of GHG emissions in 30 years, with an average annual reduction of 40,797 tCO2e (for this first instance), through the implementation of activities to reduce deforestation and degradation in more than 7,976 ha of natural forests. The project will generate community benefits through the strengthening of the economic activities of rural families, enhancing local governance, providing assistance to the development of alternative productive activities, and strengthen local administration. Also, leadership and environmental awareness will promote through training people from the community, with emphasis on the participation of women and protecting ecosystem resources, mainly the páramos and Andean forests as providers of water resources.The project seeks to implement agroecological family gardens, with family basic agricultural products consumption, including tubers, vegetables, herbs and fruits, able to meet basic household food needs, these activities will also allow people to reduce their dependence on regional markets and improve diet in their homes.
