  The NAYA REDD+ aims to develop a participatory process to establish a sustainable management system for the forests of the Community Council of the Naya River Basin, to ensure environmental sustainability and mitigate the threats posedby the main agents and drivers of deforestation, in particular,the strategy is to avoid deforestation through the implementation of the REDD+ project (Reduction of Emissions due to Deforestation and Forest Degradation, conservation of carbon reserves, sustainable management of forests and improvementof forest reserves in developing countries), this projectpermits theproviding ofpayments for the compensation of theprovidedecosystem services.
