    The project’s objective is the conservation and restoration of an Amazon forest area that belonged to a timber company before the purchase of the property by the project owners. This will be achieved through the avoidance of unplanned deforestation. In addition to the REDD component, proposed activities within the project’s scope include reforestation as well as research and the development of relations with surrounding communities.
