    The purpose of this project is to create a local market for renewable wood and, at the same time, contribute to the expansion of silviculture and attract forest-based industries and other associated productive activities to the region. The Vale Florestar CDM project activity aims to produce renewable biomass through the plantation of 7.124,29 ha with Eucalyptus urograndis and to promote the reforestation of approximately 300.000ha of degraded areas.
