- Project descriptionThe project proposes planting native trees (Caipirona, Caoba), within the plots of land of cocoa of the small producers by developing an agro-forest model following biological and biodynamic models. Thanks to this project, the producers build up a new source of income for themselves and facilitate at the same time the biodiversity and the regeneration of grounds in their region. In total, 2 million trees will be planted by 2013, in consortium with the fields of cacao or in degraded areas. In a complementary way, the project encourages the preservation of primary forest areas (deforestation avoided).
